Poyraz Tuncel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. İlkan Saygılı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Maston in the 29th minute of play. Jim Sutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacit Kurhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hakan Ayçetin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jim Sutton made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City's zone, Ahmet Hakan Ayçetin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Maston to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Don Baird. In the 52nd minute of the match Poyraz Tuncel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Sutton skillfully saved the ball. Kenan Usluer charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Maston got free with İlkan Saygılı in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Henry Beckham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacit Kurhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Hakan Ayçetin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Baird hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Poyraz Tuncel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seferihisar İdman Gücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Poyraz Tuncel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Ahmet Hakan Ayçetin made a precise shot to the right of Jim Sutton. Manchester City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 88th minute, Marek Stonehouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
