In the 25th minute, Frédson Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sandrinho Magalhães hit a great ball. Egídio Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Urseanu in the 28th minute. Xurupita FC's Egídio Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Xurupita FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Abel Proença got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abel Proença hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Sergiu Borogeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Pirani came out of the goal and Sergiu Borogeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Egídio Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugur Urseanu. In the 45th minute, Adrian Tarcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Natanael Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sever Vâtcă skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Egídio Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Urseanu in the 54th minute of play. Sever Vâtcă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frédson Donato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. Frédson Donato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Sever Vâtcă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédson Donato in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sever Vâtcă saved Yboy Black from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Frédson Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sever Vâtcă. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 81st minute Sandrinho Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Vâtcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yboy Black's Sever Vâtcă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Yboy Black from getting a goal against them. Xurupita FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
