Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frédson Donato got the match started through his kick off. Egídio Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Gaspar in the 3rd minute of play. Frédson Donatos short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Narciso Rocha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim SS from getting a goal against them. Sandrinho Magalhães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Rocha came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandrinho Magalhães slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 20th minute. Narciso Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Donato in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Frédson Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minuim SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Fernando Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time Xurupita FC's players had a chance to rest. Narciso Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Magalhães in the 38th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Minuim SS's Paulo José Moraes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egídio Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha got control of the ball when Frédson Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 52nd match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Xurupita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Reynaldo Gaspar scored to the left of an out of position Egídio Pirani, making the score, 3-2. Reynaldo Gaspar took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Pirani. Egídio Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Davi Dante hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Magalhães in the 65th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Narciso Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Xurupita FC's Egídio Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Xurupita FC from getting a goal against them. Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Rocha in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minuim SS's goalkeeper Narciso Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Minuim SS got a freekick which was hit by Lino de Toledo. Narciso Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Narciso Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Frédson Donato came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Xurupita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Donato couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédson Donato in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Rocha saved Minuim SS from getting behind. Silvério Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Xurupita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Minuim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Carlos Fernando Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Rocha skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xurupita FC had played much better football throughout.
