Mauro Alonso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomas Hindenes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Alonso. Mauro Alonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Tor-Henrik Rosenlund struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Mauro Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suleskard. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tor-Henrik Rosenlund made the kick off in the second half. Suleskard's Ådne Østvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Ali Cojan in the 53rd minute of play. Øyvind Hegge's late challenge caught a Inriville cordoba.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Øyvind Hegge helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Inriville cordoba. booed when Suleskard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Henrik Rosenlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Thomas Hindenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Thomas Hindenes took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mauro Alonso to make any attempt to save it. Suleskard's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
