Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Saje in the 6th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Lucjan Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Claudio Brkić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emalia Olkusz the free kick. In the 13th minute, Claudio Brkić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Wojno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Emalia Olkusz's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Saje came free, but Lucjan Wojno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Koper's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marino Gregorič in the 18th minute. The corner led FC Koper's Marino Gregorič to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucjan Wojno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aleksander Orlicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Bator took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bine Šercelj. FC Koper's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aleksander Orlicki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Bine Šercelj skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Aleksander Orlicki sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Georgij Jakopič got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marino Gregorič to maneuver through the defense. Witomir Zurawski struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bine Šercelj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emalia Olkusz. When Mato Podlogar fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Koper's protests and gave Mato Podlogar a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksander Orlicki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Bine Šercelj when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Brkić made a kick off. The supporters of FC Koper booed when Emalia Olkusz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Bator didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luka Saje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Damian Bator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bine Šercelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Orlicki's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Bine Šercelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Orlicki in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Koper getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Džerfi Škrinjar hit a great ball. If Boguslaw Wodaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Emalia Olkusz failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
