The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erich Stokes during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavião Kyikatejê's Max Gilespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alton Tate came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Max Gilespie had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 29 minutes, Sid Park mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gavião Kyikatejê and the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Sid Park. Graeme Downie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reginald Dickerson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean McAusland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graeme Downie during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Graeme Downie kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Reginald Dickerson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. Reginald Dickerson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dean McAusland sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Terence Douglas. In the 58th minute, Gavião Kyikatejê's Quentin Pitullich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Reginald Dickerson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 72 minutes, Quentin Pitullich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Pitullich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginald Dickerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Downie, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Reginald Dickerson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dean McAusland in the 74th minute. Reginald Dickerson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Graeme Downie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. A well placed Graeme Downie short distance shot in the 88th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Graeme Downie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Reginald Dickerson made a huge save. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gavião Kyikatejê were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
