When Samuel Sanderson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Henley on Thames United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Sanderson couldn't finish the play. Edgar Gierlach hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Emalia Olkusz's Lucjan Wojno got control of the ball when Johnathon Friebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Sanderson in the 11th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Lucjan Wojno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Wasyl Rostow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Wojno didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Witomir Zurawski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emalia Olkusz's protests and gave Witomir Zurawski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when Emalia Olkusz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Zurawski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Emalia Olkusz getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wasyl Rostow hit a great ball. Samuel Sanderson came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucjan Wojno could save by the left post. Hayden Watkins charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayden Watkins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Hayden Watkins got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dane White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Orlicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Wojno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Quinn in the 29th minute of the match. Lucjan Wojno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathon Friebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Tod Summers hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Dane White, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Emalia Olkusz's Patryk Pruss got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Samuel Sanderson sped through Emalia Olkusz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Wojno. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kelvin Quinn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Emalia Olkusz booed when Henley on Thames United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Summers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henley on Thames United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Aleksander Orlicki scored to the left of an out of position Dane White, making the score, 3-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Aleksander Orlicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emalia Olkusz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Orlicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Dane White had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Orlicki. After a defensive mix-up in Henley on Thames United's zone, Boguslaw Wodaszak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dane White came out of the goal and Boguslaw Wodaszak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Aleksander Orlicki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dane White was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
