Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Sid Park started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Henley on Thames United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Watkins to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lloyd McCodrum got free with Dane White in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Dane White had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dean McAusland. When Johnathon Friebe fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henley on Thames United's protests and gave Johnathon Friebe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when Henley on Thames United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathon Friebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orson Cambridge hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Quinn came free, but Max Gilespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dane White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean McAusland in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Johnathon Friebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Gilespie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Max Gilespie came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames United's Samuel Sanderson. But to his dismay, Samuel Sanderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gavin Chiverton kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Hayden Watkins put in a rough tackle. Hayden Watkins kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lloyd McCodrum shot from long distance after 35 played minutes, a shot that Dane White with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Johnathon Friebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lloyd McCodrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dane White having to interfere. After the first half Henley on Thames United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Sanderson to strike the kick off in the second half. Lloyd McCodrum scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dane White, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute Johnathon Friebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Gilespie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Quentin Pitullich fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavião Kyikatejê's protests and gave Quentin Pitullich a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Pitullich. Johnathon Friebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Gilespie having to interfere. Dean McAusland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dane White having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Kelvin Quinn got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Terence Douglas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Sanderson got free with Max Gilespie in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dean McAusland took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dane White. Dane White dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Pitullich came free, but Dane White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Henley on Thames United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
