Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benigno Vermudo started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Ariel Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. The Mayhem Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Alves should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Mayhem Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Vermudo came free, but Marcelo Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Alves was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Ariel Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Benigno Vermudo scored 3-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marcelo Alves was a little too slow when Ariel Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Benigno Vermudo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ariel Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Alves came out and tried to block the shot, but Ariel Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Mayhem Sharks getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Laerte Trigo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Soler in the 55th minute of the match. With 57 minutes on the clock, Laerte Trigo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 58 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Trigo. After some careless play in the Mayhem Sharks defense, Ariel Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, Ariel Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Marcelo Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Montel. Alejandro Montel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Benigno Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Mayhem Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Riccardo Zonta. Rodrigo Soler scored 12-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Soler notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Maradona fully deserved thier win.
