Thanks to some nice moves Baldomero Seber could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Osvaldinho Marquez however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th minute Wilian Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Aurre in the 34th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dário Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Wilian Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Tadeo Sesuldo got control of the ball when Dário Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grêmio FBPA's Amadeu Pitta suffered a concussion in the 94th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Paolo Tximitx's late challenge caught a Grêmio FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Tximitx helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Tximitx. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
