After 13 minutes, Sidnei Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mayhem Sharks and the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of G.E. Juventus FSCMZ booed when Mayhem Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Paulo Pitta got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcelo Alves was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo do Nascimento in the 16th minute of play forced Mayhem Sharks's goalkeeper Marcelo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Pitta in the 17th minute of play. Sidnei Monteiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Mayhem Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Trigo to maneuver through the defense. When G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Gino da Rocha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Alves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G.E. Juventus FSCMZ reached it. The wind increased when Fred Cruz made the kick off in the second half. When G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's José Paulo Pitta in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reynaldo do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Marcelo Alves made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Serafim Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Alves. Serafim Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 64 minutes of play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Serafim Ramos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvaldo Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fred Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Luís Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves got control of the ball when José Paulo Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Pitta in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Mayhem Sharks's Marcelo Alves got control of the ball when Arthur de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of G.E. Serafim Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. With 87 minutes on the clock, Dito Lopes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th minute, one of Mayhem Sharks:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mayhem Sharks. Mayhem Sharks:s Marcelo Alves showed great skill when he stopped Gino da Rocha:s penalty. In the 89th minute, Gino da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.E. Juventus FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. José Paulo Pitta took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Alves. Marcelo Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ played a much better game than Mayhem Sharks and deserved their victory. The Mayhem Sharks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
