Chipa y Tereré's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Guter came free, but Tadeo Sesuldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Segio. In the 20th minute Paolo Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Valentin Ubelteso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Tadeo Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Maule in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Narciso Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Sesuldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tadeo Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Guter in the 33rd minute of the match. Baldomero Seber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Victoriano Ferran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tadeo Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Frascuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Aurre hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Jaime Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Victoriano Ferran made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ramon Aurre sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lyons's zone, Ramon Aurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Ferran came out of the goal and Ramon Aurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Lyons were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Tximitx to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Miliano in the 53rd minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Tadeo Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Tximitx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Ferran having to make a save. Tadeo Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Frascuelo in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Lyons's Clodoveo Llanos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeo Sesuldo. Tadeo Sesuldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 67 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Guter. Victoriano Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Tximitx in the 68th minute of the match. Tadeo Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Narciso Guter. But to his dismay, Narciso Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 75th minute, Francisco Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Guter got free with Tadeo Sesuldo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeo Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Llanos in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Francisco Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Narciso Guter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Benedicto Maule tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeo Sesuldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Tadeo Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Guter in the 89th minute of play. Club A.
