Sjötorp IF's George Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sjötorp IF from getting a goal against them. Sconvols United's Cesare De Lorenzi suffered a concussion after 47 minutes and had to leave the field. Samuel Melin's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Melin helped the player get up and apologised. Sconvols United made a substitution. Ermanno Scotti replaced Cesare De Lorenzi. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damiano Rosato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Ström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute Alfredo Scafati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sjötorp IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
