The Gunnarsbyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Termander should have stopped the shot. Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Van De Wijngaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. William De Fauw took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sören Termander. Sören Termander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sören Termander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Machiels in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Artur Van De Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Termander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gunnarsbyn's Urban Ahlberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lorenz Van Eede charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenz Van Eede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenz Van Eede hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Machiels in the 30th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie Van Beylen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Söderberg went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Van De Wijngaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The Gunnarsbyn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limburg United were winning 1-5.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frans Machiels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Limburg United's Artur Van De Wijngaert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sören Termander. Sören Termander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Artur Van De Wijngaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sören Termander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sören Termander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William De Fauw in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Urban Ahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Lenny Van de Poel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sören Termander. Lenny Van de Poel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Urban Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarsbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Urban Ahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie Van Beylen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sebbe Smet hit a great ball. Sören Termander made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Frans Machiels sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Artur Van De Wijngaert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sören Termander. The goal made the score 1-8. Robbie Van Beylen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stigsson in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frans Machiels got free with Sören Termander in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leif Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarsbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 92nd minute Per Stigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander got control of the ball when William De Fauw tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Frans Machiels notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander. Sören Termander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Gunnarsbyn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Limburg United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
