Samuel Melin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Arif Burak Erengüç 16 minutes into the match. Samuel Melin charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Melin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuel Melin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sjötorp IF's Leonardo Sjöberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Burak Erengüç. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Leonardo Sjöberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Sjötorp IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arif Burak Erengüç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Melin in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Edmund Tham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sjötorp IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions Of Turks the free kick. After 27 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Tham. Lions Of Turks's Arif Burak Erengüç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Lions Of Turks from getting a goal against them. Vedat Arslanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Ström having to interfere. İlhami Özselen struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. George Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lions Of Turks. Leonardo Sjöberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Melin. İlhami Özselen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Vedat Arslanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vedat Arslanoğlu made a kick off. After 51 minutes, İlhami Özselen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions Of Turks and the Sjötorp IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. İlhami Özselen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Sjötorp IF's Leonardo Sjöberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Burak Erengüç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Edmund Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjötorp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Tham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's Samuel Melin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Burak Erengüç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Fred Persson. Bican Özgunay's shot from long distance in the 76th minute was not bad at all, but Sjötorp IF's George Ström knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Leonardo Hedkvist got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Samuel Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Melin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Burak Erengüç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arif Burak Erengüç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Tham in the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sjötorp IF's George Ström got control of the ball when İlhami Özselen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Arslanoğlu came free, but George Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lions Of Turks players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sjötorp IF.
