The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Lions Of Turks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Damiano Rosato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arif Burak Erengüç firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 19 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Aceto. 22 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Costanzo came free, but Arif Burak Erengüç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sconvols United's Fabio Aceto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Burak Erengüç. That made the score 1-2 after 28 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Fabio Aceto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Artaç Ünsan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Çetin Özdoru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions Of Turks and the Sconvols United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lions Of Turks's Çetin Özdoru got a free kick in the 40th minute. Fabio Aceto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Burak Erengüç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Damiano Rosato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arif Burak Erengüç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sconvols United's Ennio Costanzo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Rosato to make the kick off. Sconvols United were furious when Cesare De Lorenzi was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cesare De Lorenzi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lions Of Turks's Çetin Özdoru got a free kick in the 54th minute. Florian Vinci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arif Burak Erengüç. Lions Of Turks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute İlhami Özselen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Fabio Aceto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Burak Erengüç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ennio Costanzo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arif Burak Erengüç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Rosato, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Aceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sconvols United's Ettore Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Özselen in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Vedat Arslanoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Franco. Vedat Arslanoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedat Arslanoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lions Of Turks's Arif Burak Erengüç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Costanzo in the 86th minute of play. Vedat Arslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ettore Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
