Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anders Johansson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Tham in the 5th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Edmund Tham made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmund Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Sören Termander made a huge save. Sören Termander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Tham in the 20th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's Samuel Melin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Termander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Tham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sören Termander came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmund Tham slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Sören Termander made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Anders Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Anders Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Termander having to interfere. Sören Termander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Melin in the 41st minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Deckberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Stigsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmund Tham struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sören Termander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjötorp IF. George Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Stigsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Söderberg in the 72nd minute. Leif Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Sjötorp IF were furious when Patrik Björk was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Gunnarsbyn booed when Sjötorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kjell-Arne Deckberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarsbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Deckberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Samuel Melin came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sjötorp IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Melin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edmund Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Tham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Termander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Gunnarsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Dahlquist. In the 89th minute, Samuel Melin made a precise shot to the right of Sören Termander. Gunnarsbyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sjötorp IF fully deserved thier win.
