The supporters of Gurdurão booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Dalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Kelmond S.C.'s protests and gave Paul Trip a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Kelmond S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paul Trip.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Cunha to make the kick off. Ferry Schattenberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Vítor Dionísio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 52 minute of play.
