In the 5th minute, Red Bull Magnus's Kilian Mbappè ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kléber Lira. Kléber Lira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Aloísio Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Augusto Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Guimarães was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Olympique Deleon's Luís Fábio Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Olympique Deleon's Kléber Lira got control of the ball when Maurinho Rosado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Mathias Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Deleon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Magnus the free kick. The supporters of Red Bull Magnus booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Varela in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pedro Luís Melo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Deleon's protests and gave Pedro Luís Melo a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Melo. In the 40th match minute, Red Bull Magnus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Olympique Deleon's Célio Azevedo tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Luís Fábio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olympique Deleon's Mathias Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Augusto Varela made the kick off in the second half. Augusto Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Kilian Mbappè came free, but Kléber Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Maurinho Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Augusto Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Deleon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Aloísio Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Varela. Kléber Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pedro Luís Melo hit a great ball. Olympique Deleon's Yuri Jacinto was substituted for Augusto Varela. 70 minutes into the match, Maurinho Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Lira. Olympique Deleon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kilian Mbappè managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull Magnus's supporters rose to their feet, but Kilian Mbappè was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Red Bull Magnus's Aloísio Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Jacinto in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Célio Azevedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Red Bull Magnus's Aloísio Guimarães didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Yuri Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
