The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Chepe having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Stronghold S.A's Everardo Vela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Ioritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Everardo Vela succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Baldomero Jatsu hit a great ball. Everardo Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonel Rafe fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cosa Nostra's protests and gave Leonel Rafe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stronghold S.A booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Delmiro Ioritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Natanael. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After 58 minutes of play, Stronghold S.A's Benigno Chinto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Ioritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Delmiro Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, La Cosa Nostra's Omar Kismi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. 76 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Bartolo Chepe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Bakar. Delmiro Ioritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Aurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Rodolfo Bakar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cosa Nostra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Bakar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Stronghold S.A booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Chepe was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Rodolfo Bakar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Bakar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Omar Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bartolo Chepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Kismi in the 97th minute of play. Stronghold S.A were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
