The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. During the 15th minute of the match Lázaro Furman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lázaro Furman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Lázaro Furman got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paul Trip kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kelmond S.C. defense, Atilano Vergaray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferry Schattenberg. The Kelmond S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferry Schattenberg should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Atilano Vergaray notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg. Ferry Schattenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Fonda charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Fonda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Clemente Fonda hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Ger Daems hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Gabrio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kelmond S.C. booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Trip, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 55th match minute, Kelmond S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franck Assendelft to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferry Schattenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Fonda in the 58th minute. Severo Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Heida in the 63rd minute of the match. Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hub Heida in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Martien Hesp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Navarro. Terapia Intensiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martien Hesp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Severo Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Heida in the 72nd minute of the match. Martien Hesp took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Navarro. Severo Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 78 minutes into the match, Clemente Fonda notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg. Ferry Schattenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathijs Dalman's late challenge caught a Terapia Intensiva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathijs Dalman helped the player get up and apologised. When Atilano Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Terapia Intensiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Vergaray couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Hesp came free, but Severo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Schattenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
