Cássio Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toto Schillaci went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Renan Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Oto having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Toto Schillaci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Amaral. Gurdurão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toto Schillaci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Justino Astigar's late challenge caught a Gurdurão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Astigar helped the player get up and apologised. Renan Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gurdurão players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
