When Gil Simões came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the PLURAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Simões couldn't finish the play. António Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Severo Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 13 minutes, Lázaro Furman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terapia Intensiva and the PLURAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PLURAL booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Gil Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severo Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Simões's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Falcão came free, but Severo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Leandro Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Montenegro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PLURAL's Caio Caiado got a free kick in the 29th minute. PLURAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Lázaro Furman scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Montenegro, making the score, 1-0. Gil Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Gil Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Gil Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Navarro. Terapia Intensiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Severo Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Simões's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Simões in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Navarro saved Terapia Intensiva from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gil Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Navarro was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Simões in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Furman made a kick off. Gil Simõess short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Severo Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute, Gil Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Segundo Goiz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Severo Navarro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gil Simões sent off a good shot on target. Gil Simões took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Navarro. Severo Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Terapia Intensiva from getting a goal against them. With his leg Severo Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when PLURAL's Gil Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gil Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Navarro having to interfere. PLURAL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
