Toto Schillaci really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 14 minutes into the game, Lázaro Furman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terapia Intensiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUSESI the free kick. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Clemente Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Atilano Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cipriano Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Clemente Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Oto having to interfere. Severo Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toto Schillaci in the 37th minute of play. Severo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toto Schillaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Ruben Cayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 52nd minute of the match Tiburcio Cuartio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severo Navarro skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Terapia Intensiva's zone, Toto Schillaci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Navarro came out of the goal and Toto Schillaci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Terapia Intensiva booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play Terapia Intensiva's Lázaro Furman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Lázaro Furman got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toto Schillaci in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of GUSESI booed when Terapia Intensiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GUSESI's zone, Clemente Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Oto came out of the goal and Clemente Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. After 79 minutes of play, GUSESI's Toto Schillaci made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in GUSESI's zone, Clemente Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terapia Intensiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilano Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Celso Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The GUSESI players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
