The referee showed Bruninho Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Novaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Clemente Fonda made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Amaral. Gurdurão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Severo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Severo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Gauargi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Terapia Intensiva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gurdurão:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Gurdurão. Magno Bertassi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Severo Navarro. 2-1. When Ezequiel Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave Ezequiel Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ezequiel Cabral hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Isidoro Gauargi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. João Vítor Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Bittencourt came free, but Severo Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Gurdurão's zone, Clemente Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Amaral came out of the goal and Clemente Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Robinho Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Furman in the 68th minute of play forced Gurdurão's goalkeeper Cássio Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho Bittencourt in the 81st minute. The long shot by Bruninho Novaes in the 83rd minute really tested Severo Navarro's skills. The Terapia Intensiva fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gurdurão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
