After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ger Daems managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelmond S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ger Daems was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Castro during the 46th minute. Red Bull Magnus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youri de Zaaijer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Red Bull Magnus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
