Spectators: 7627 (Terracing: 5721, Seating: 1754, VIP seats: 152) Colo-Colo's Salomone Comas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnau Ramos during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Arnau Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Salomone Comas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. 8 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Bäckström came free, but Salomone Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Åkerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Salomone Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Bennet made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Victor Hugo Federici sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th match minute, Colo-Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor Bourchier to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Mattias Smefeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Arnau Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hugo Federici in the 26th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomone Comas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Tanausu Mac Donald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colo-Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanausu Mac Donald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Olov Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomone Comas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samurai! The referee gave Colo-Colo a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Quintén Barrios, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Samurai's Fredrik Bennet. 2-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Vodanovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samurai's Fredrik Bennet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Vodanovic in the 55th minute of play. Fredrik Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Vodanovic in the 64th minute of the match. If Mattias Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Olov Bäckström. Colo-Colo's Feliciano Marsal was substituted for Washington Davalos. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Olov Bäckström hit a great ball. Bo Svanström's late challenge caught a Colo-Colo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Svanström helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Svanström kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Warnes. Samurai's Olov Bäckström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Salomone Comas but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Vodanovic in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Bennet saved Samurai from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Colo-Colo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
