The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mircea Popic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Gomes in the 3rd minute of play. Florín Bratu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dorival Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Florín Bratu sent off a good shot on target. If Elder Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, A4p Dejani's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Luz came free, but Mircea Popic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When A4p Dejani's Florín Bratu in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A4p Dejani's Mircea Popic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Luz in the 37th minute of play. Betão de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Malcoci in the 38th minute. Filipe de Souza's late challenge caught a A4p Dejani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. Filipe de Souza hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florín Bratu 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 46th minute, Emanuel Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florín Bratu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederico Gomes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 57thth minute. Though ot was a great shot A4p Dejani's keeper Mircea Popic was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 65th minute of play forced A4p Dejani's goalkeeper Mircea Popic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mircea Popic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Popic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A4p Dejani's Mircea Popic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save A4p Dejani from getting a goal against them. When A4p Dejani's Florín Bratu in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 91st minute of play forced A4p Dejani's goalkeeper Mircea Popic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A4p Dejani booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E. Cachoeirinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A4p Dejani.
