The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Luz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rendy Masengi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's supporters rose to their feet, but Rendy Masengi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Perivaldo de Queiroz got a free kick in the 14th minute. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsyad Sandiaji in the 27th minute of play. Darwin Alaydrus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão de Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Darwin Alaydrus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rendy Masengi. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsyad Sandiaji stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elder Luz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Syahrul Oddang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Syahrul Oddang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Recife in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Barricade Of Mighty Beast booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Barricade Of Mighty Beast got a freekick which was hit by Giring Bawazier. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Edinho Mello got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Arsyad Sandiaji came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 74th minute of play forced Barricade Of Mighty Beast's goalkeeper Syahrul Oddang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsyad Sandiaji recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Barricade Of Mighty Beast defense, Dorival Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Syahrul Oddang. The Barricade Of Mighty Beast fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Syahrul Oddang should have stopped the shot. Darwin Alaydrus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Sinambela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.E. Cachoeirinha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
