The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Simon Swart put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute, one of Lemel SV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lemel SV. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for SvE United. Genko Klyashev stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olivier Kahn. 1-1. Olivier Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slaveyko Angelakov in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SvE United's Gencho Gudzhulov got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Kirilov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Leon Reiling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lemel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SvE United the free kick. In the 87th minute, Genko Klyashev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SvE United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Gencho Gudzhulov hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. SvE United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lemel SV for a fine match.
