Christiano Dante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Staffan Lind when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Olov Bock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linköpings AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Bock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Greger Jonasson made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Cardozo. Nova Venécia-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Greger Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Åke Thidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Cardozo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Staffan Lind made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Christiano Dante sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Dante in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Lind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Åke Thidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Cardozo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Clemente Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Thidén's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Ramos came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Vito Custódio made a precise shot to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Olov Bock took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Cardozo. Clemente Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Geovânio Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Staffan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
