Syahrul Oddang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pieter den Hartog went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rendy Masengi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Kahn having to interfere. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's Sophan Mursadat pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Serge de Boer charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serge de Boer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's Darwin Kusnadi was substituted for Sophan Mursadat. In the 46th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge de Boer to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darwin Kusnadi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Serge de Boer. Barricade Of Mighty Beast's Zahran Nadeak got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darwin Alaydrus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olivier Kahn having to interfere. If Darwin Kusnadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darwin Alaydrus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Olivier Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dries Teunisse hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Barricade Of Mighty Beast getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Giring Bawazier hit a great ball. Serge de Boer got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th minute, Serge de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lemel SV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lemel SV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
