Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Herbert Bulkiewicz took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when SMOCZANKA MIELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Banaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Torstensson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bengt-Åke Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Zygmunt Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Maksymilian Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Godholm hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Thidén to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Benedykt Nienajadlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Nienajadlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Staffan Lind managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Herbert Bulkiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Staffan Lind made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Maksymilian Cupial sent off a good shot on target. Staffan Lind was a little too slow when Maksymilian Cupial got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Herbert Bulkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Staffan Lind made a huge save. Wincenty Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Herbert Bulkiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Staffan Lind when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Maksymilian Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Lind was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With an all-out effort, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Staffan Lind threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wincenty Faron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute, Benedykt Nienajadlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Zygmunt Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Thidén in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Thidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Kolbert hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Herbert Bulkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Staffan Lind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Staffan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Cupial, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inge Godholm during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Inge Godholm hit a great ball. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Nienajadlo in the 60th minute of play. When SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Herbert Bulkiewicz in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linköpings AIK's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Bulkiewicz came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zygmunt Gniech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Thidén's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Maksymilian Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Johannes Torstensson made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zygmunt Gniech was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Faron in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greger Jonasson during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Greger Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Torstensson. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Bulkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SMOCZANKA MIELEC had won after a very even match.
