The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 严松凌 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Cardozo having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Clemente Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 顾城永. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Venécia-ES's zone, 顾城永 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Cardozo came out of the goal and 顾城永 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Paranaense got free with 袁桦霖 in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Giovani Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by 庄银凡. 袁桦霖 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Ramos in the 59th minute of play. If Gildo de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, 严松凌 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but 严松凌 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
