They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Kuijsten to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lundqvist in the 53rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rik Numan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite this Rik Numan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. But to his dismay, Svenne Svensk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Lukas Matsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gertjan Theisens. After 94 minutes, Bobbo Boateng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the Mijdrecht Maffia players grew even worse after the yellow card.
