Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) 6 minutes into the match, Luisinho Trancoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radenko Mayer, 1-0. Radenko Mayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Reis in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Nicolas Anelka got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Illgner in the 28th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Gregor Reinauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Natanael Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Natanael Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen 05 booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Henrique Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radenko Mayer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, S.C. Reis United's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Hussen came free, but João Paulo Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radenko Mayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Trancoso in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatmir Zollt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Elano Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Elano Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radenko Mayer was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Elano Reis made a precise shot to the right of Radenko Mayer. KFC Uerdingen 05's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Luisinho Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radenko Mayer. KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Radenko Mayer came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis. But to his dismay, Elano Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Alberto Guimarães hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ratko Leibold, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. S.C. Reis United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
