Waldemar Roppel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Michalowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Ganz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Bodin was the one to do the kick off. Klaus-Dieter Beimel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Bodin in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Patrik Kölblinger hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, SV Klingsmoos's Loy Berns shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klaus-Dieter Beimel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SV Klingsmoos reached it. After 57 played minutes SV Klingsmoos got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Gotthard. Hartmut Wannemacher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SV Klingsmoos's Loy Berns got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Hartmut Wannemacher managed to get in a good position for a shot. FV Wienerwald's supporters rose to their feet, but Hartmut Wannemacher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Roppel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Nickolas Kaiser replaced Ole Michalowicz. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when SV Klingsmoos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoph Gotthard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Delb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Waldemar Roppel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SV Klingsmoos's Waldemar Roppel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolas Kaiser in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to SV Klingsmoos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Uwe Neudorf hit a great ball. After 85 minutes of play, FV Wienerwald's Harald Delb made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Roppel was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, FV Wienerwald's Waldemar Roppel threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Björn Bassen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
