Without hesitation aimed to the right of Unai Simon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Ximo Campello suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Baldomero Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. LVCVS AVGVSTI made a substitution. Isidor Diez replaced Ximo Campello. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Mikel Oyarzabal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ramon Tancredo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Rosalio in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Unai Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when LVCVS AVGVSTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikel Oyarzabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Baldomero Hernandez from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Unai Simon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Unai Simon made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Armando Rosalio sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Rosalio got free with Unai Simon in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, one of LVCVS AVGVSTI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LVCVS AVGVSTI. In the 61st minute, Diego Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Unai Simon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Isidor Diez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ramon Tancredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Ramon Shantala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Rosalio in the 77th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Unai Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Ramone Nadal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Armando Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unai Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unai Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Rosalio in the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mercado Paulista F.C fully deserved thier win.
