Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Stig-Arne Ekblom made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th match minute, Wargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Bubba Ba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FV Wienerwald's Hartmut Wannemacher got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Trattnig. After 15 minutes of play, Wargön's Wictor Pihlberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaus-Dieter Beimel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens Ahlroht was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ole Michalowicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Harald Delb struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jens Ahlroht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FV Wienerwald. In the 25th minute of the match, Ole Michalowicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens Ahlroht saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Klaus-Dieter Beimel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 27th minute of the match. Klaus-Dieter Beimel came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Wargön's Sigvard Wallander. But to his dismay, Sigvard Wallander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jens Ahlroht was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Ole Michalowicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ole Michalowicz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Jens Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FV Wienerwald's Daniel Trattnig. But to his dismay, Daniel Trattnig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 42 minutes into the game, Sigvard Wallander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Klaus-Dieter Beimel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Stefan Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Delb made a kick off. Daniel Trattnig took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Ahlroht. Jens Ahlroht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Jens Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Trattnig, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ole Michalowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Trattnig's late challenge caught a Wargön's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Trattnig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute Bengt-Rune Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus-Dieter Beimel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaus-Dieter Beimel made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Stig-Arne Ekblom sent off a good shot on target. Jens Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Trattnig in the 85th minute of play. Sebastian Andreasson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Törnkvist got free with Klaus-Dieter Beimel in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Riese, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stig-Arne Ekblom hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Wargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. The FV Wienerwald support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
