The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júnior Vergílio came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's Ruben Paz. But to his dismay, Ruben Paz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Dinamo Colorado's Tarcisio Mesquita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Júnior Vergílio but with some difficulty. In the 11th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Mattos lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Mathias Mattos got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Andres D'Alessandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Júnior Vergílio got control of the ball when Ruben Paz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Fernando Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Mesquita. José Lucas struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Carlos Fernando Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ. 33 minutes into the match, Rafa Teixeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júnior Vergílio, 2-0. Fernando Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Júnior Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres D'Alessandro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Paz's late challenge caught a Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Paz helped the player get up and apologised. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Wellington Torres replaced Wilian Alagoano. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Agnaldo Mazza replaced Júlio Pontes. Oséias de Castro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Carlos Fernando Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Paz to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Paz. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dinamo Colorado fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maxaranguape - FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
