After taking down the ball on Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's corner Simon Firmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaime Havier quite easily take care of the ball. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Chorche in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente's Jaime Havier got control of the ball when Arsenio Lucifer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor Erdiano was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Chorche came free, but Farid Lucifer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mariano Gorosti made the kick off in the second half. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Erdiano in the 53rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
