Nichifor Badea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Frânculescu in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costin Frânculescu during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC WAWER booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Frânculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Kaczucha came free, but Nichifor Badea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladyslaw Kaczucha in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea got control of the ball when Bogumil Balonek tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Vlas in the 23rd minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's zone, Tolek Popowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Badea came out of the goal and Tolek Popowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wladyslaw Kaczucha in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Badea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Wladyslaw Kaczucha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Badea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Kaczucha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nichifor Badea came out and tried to block the shot, but Wladyslaw Kaczucha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Wladyslaw Kaczucha scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nichifor Badea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wladyslaw Kaczucha made a kick off. After 54 played minutes FC WAWER got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Balonek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Kaczucha in the 57th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Nichifor Badea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Wladyslaw Rostow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Moșneanu. FC WAWER made a substitution. Waclaw Drozdowski replaced Wladyslaw Rostow. In the 62nd minute, Răzvan Moșneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Costel Vlas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Luis Chilavert, 2-1. Nichifor Badea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wladyslaw Kaczucha went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC WAWER's Wladyslaw Kaczucha got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Iwo Rybak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC WAWER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Rybak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Iwo Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nichifor Badea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Kaczucha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC WAWER's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
