Farid Lucifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Joinville United - FSCMZ's João Pedro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Louis in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Louis came free, but João Pedro Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Resurrección Diabólica Ψ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 91st minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Nicasio Veremundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. João Pedro Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Cidro in the 96th minute. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
