If Martin Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Edgar Ciocârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Normando in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ilie Hâjdău left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. But to his dismay, Narcis Ruşdea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jaime Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Pantilimon in the 85th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Jaime Havier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edgar Ciocârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Gorosti in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente's Jaime Havier got control of the ball when Tiberiu Pantilimon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Faron. Jaime Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ruşdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
