Spectators: 7866 (Terracing: 5901, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 156) Narcis Ruşdea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jaime Havier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Ruşdea's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Amador Gustau charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Gustau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Amador Gustau got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Chorche. Teobaldo Casomiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Ilie Pop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Havier came out of the goal and Ilie Pop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narcis Ruşdea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Narcis Ruşdea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiberiu Pantilimon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jaime Havier made a huge save. The supporters of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Chorche didn't get a good kick on the ball. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Ilie Pop couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Independiente. In the 31st minute, Teobaldo Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32ndth minute of the game Narcis Ruşdea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Jaime Havier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guaberto Chorche hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jaime Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Nițulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Havier was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Narcis Ruşdea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narcis Ruşdea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Gorosti to strike the kick off in the second half. Nestor Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Edgar Ciocârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Edgar Ciocârlan got control of the ball when Mariano Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Independiente's Guaberto Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Chorche got free with Edgar Ciocârlan in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Pantilimon in the 72nd minute of play. Jaime Havier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Pantilimon's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jaime Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Hâjdău in the 79th minute of play. Jaime Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Ruşdea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Narcis Ruşdea hit a great ball. Tiberiu Pantilimon struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jaime Havier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★POLI★™★VIOLA★. When the referee ended the match the ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
