Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Gorosti started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Mariano Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jaime Havier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Gorosti in the 11th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Osasun came free, but Jaime Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's Mariano Gorosti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Tabb. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Jerrold in the 22nd minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Jaime Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Erdiano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. AFC CERBEROS's Abel Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Gorosti in the 26th minute of play. Nestor Erdiano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jonathan Osasun scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Tabb was a little too slow when Mariano Gorosti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Abel Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Pacorro in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th play minute Mariano Gorosti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abel Tabb. 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Jerrold to make the kick off. Guaberto Chorche took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Tabb. Abel Tabb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 56th minute Nestor Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Urko during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Moises Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Independiente's Mariano Gorosti made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Tabb was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nestor Erdiano hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Freddy Jerrold took a quick shot and it went in 6-2 without a chance for Jaime Havier to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Gorosti in the 75th minute of play forced AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Abel Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Abel Tabb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Erdiano went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Independiente's Mariano Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Tabb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. Guaberto Chorche's late challenge caught a AFC CERBEROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Chorche helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Guaberto Chorche got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Jaime Havier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Osasun. In the 95th minute AFC CERBEROS were awarded a corner. Cornelio Valerio went to the cornerflag to take it. Freddy Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC CERBEROS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
