Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kristian Biörling took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Sten Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Odilon might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Algot Påk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Odilon ran back to his position shaking his head. Celta de Virgos's Rafael Virila got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when George Engström came free, but Genaro Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mikael Forsell hit a great ball. ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save ZigZag Athletic from getting a goal against them. Genaro Mattin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Mellberg went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Celta de Virgos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kalle Modig was slow to take the kick. During this time ZigZag Athletic's players had a chance to rest. Kristian Biörling was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. George Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Genaro Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Biörling came free, but Genaro Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Falck in the 33rd minute of play. Algot Påk came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's Damaso Marcones. But to his dismay, Damaso Marcones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 38 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Gomez. In the 42ndth minute of the game Kristian Biörling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celta de Virgos's Genaro Mattin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Falck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Engström in the 45th minute of play. ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Berbiz in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Marcones to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristian Biörling scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Mattin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 66 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Leo Cloyo. ZigZag Athletic's Hjalmar Berg was substituted for Kristian Biörling. After 67 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Leo Cloyo. Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonas Falck 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Lisandro Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Algot Påk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. George Engström hit a great ball. Samuel Gomez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. Celta de Virgos:s Genaro Mattin showed great skill when he stopped Kalle Modig:s penalty. When Rafael Virila fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celta de Virgos's protests and gave Rafael Virila a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Virila. After 87 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Maule. Hjalmar Berg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 89th playminute. ZigZag Athletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
