Venancio Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cordero got free with Will Muralhas in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Will Muralhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Joaquim Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SE Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Faro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mystyc FC's Venancio Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Godoi in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Ikatz in the 66th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Joaquim Miranda got a free kick in the 75th minute. Eriberto Padro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Will Muralhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystyc FC. SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emanuel Faro hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Roberto Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 90 minutes into the match, Joaquim Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Ibar. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Dito Donatello got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes, Mystyc FC's Emanuel Faro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Will Muralhas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mystyc FC reached it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SE Palmeiras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
