Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Cipriano Chuan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jefferson do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Chuan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cipriano Chuan sped through Karaboudjan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jefferson do Vale. In the 8th minute Cipriano Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Conrado França came free, but Ulises Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Victorio Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jefferson do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Chuan. After 25 minutes, Victorio Rexino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the Karaboudjan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victorio Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Cipriano Chuan made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Victorio Rexino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Rexino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Geraldo Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Chuan in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson do Vale saved Karaboudjan from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Tasso made a kick off. AZURDUY F.C.'s Ulises Bastian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. Saverio Louis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulises Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugênio Tasso. In the 61st minute, AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Conrado França fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute, Elano Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Célio Cruz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Chuan came free, but Jefferson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célio Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Célio Cruz. Célio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dario Rameriz's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Rameriz helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ulises Bastian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado França went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Raí Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AZURDUY F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
