SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Tasso in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Travassos came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jefferson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Medeiros in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Abelardo Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jefferson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Medeiros in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Mateus Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Will Muralhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Karaboudjan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SE Palmeiras were winning 1-2.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
